Tremough Follies are proud to present their annual musical 'Spring Awakening'.
Spring Awakening is a Tony Award-winning rock musical based on the controversial 1891 play by Frank Wedekind.

Set in late-nineteenth century Germany, Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. With music performed by a live Orchestra, this landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTION--------------------------

The Journey of our play began last May when our Co-directors pitched their concept to the incoming and outgoing committee's and it won out over the other options. We saw the passion and excitement they had for the project, aswell as the dedication and effort already put in!

Auditions and casting took place in Late November 2017 with main rehearsals beginning in the new year!
